Kalo Sport Ltd was established in 2013 to provide sports coaching services to children through community based coaching, school sports teaching, sports academies and Ofsted registered holiday sports camps. Our initial launch was in the area of Winchmore Hill, Enfield and this is still where our office is based but we now operate across many North London boroughs.

We pride ourselves in ensuring that a safe, fun, and positive educational environment is consistently maintained, to encourage a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle for all children who we work with. The safety and welfare of all children who attend our activities is of paramount importance to us. We keep a valid DBS certificate on file for every staff member and all of our group leading coaches have passed the Introduction to Safeguarding Children course and possess a valid first aid certificate.

Facilities

The outstanding on-site facilities we use provide an ideal setting for children and staff to be safe, have fun and to excel. Our flagship camp and services operate out of Hazelwood Sports Club (Winchmore Hill), which hosts both indoor and outdoor tennis courts, sports halls, sports fields, state of the art changing/toilet facilities and a safe & secure clubhouse.

Staff

Our coaching team is comprised of highly knowledgeable and qualified sports coaches who possess considerable experience working with children of all ages and abilities. The safety of your child is our main priority and we ensure that all of our coaches have a valid enhanced and clean DBS certificate on file and that a certified first aider is always on site. Our staff all possess at least a minimum level 1 qualification in the sport they specialise in with all lead coaches at least level 2 and trained in child safeguarding. We regularly invest in the enrolment of our staff in coaching courses throughout the year and hold regular team meetings to ensure our coaches are prepared to deliver the best service.

Enhanced learning occurs when we are placed within a positive teaching environment. Kalo Sport places a heavy emphasis in ensuring that we create a fun and sporting atmosphere for children whilst promoting an environment in which they are motivated and inspired to learn.

Structure

All of our coaching sessions and camps are structured to ensure constant development. We aim to blend instructive and dynamic technical practices with stimulating and enjoyable game-based coaching and mini-tournament play, which is suited to your child’s relevant age and ability. We are very strict with ratios and age appropriate coaching groups.
