What a year it has been for Andy Murray from starting the year 2nd in the world rankings to be at the end of the current year ending it in the number 1 spot in the world rankings.

As we know Andy had to either do as good as Djokovic or do better and that’s exactly what he did. On Sunday we saw Andy go up against Djokovic in the ATP World Tour Finals at the London O2 Arena winning 6-3 6-4 and extending his career- best winning run to 24 matches.

How long will he stay number 1 ? 

Who knows but what we know is that now its Andy’s time in the limelight!
